As an ID Medics Personal Plan member, you will have access to fully-managed identity recovery services for situations of confirmed or suspected identity theft.

Our Personal Plan offers complete coverage for individuals or families. This includes coverage for the member, his/her spouse or partner, their children under age 25 with the same permanent address, and the parents of the group member if they are living at the same address or in elder care (assisted living, nursing home, or hospice), and the benefit for the parent extends for up to twelve months after death. Also covered is any handicapped adult living in the same household as the member, who requires assistance to manage their affairs.

Our fully-managed recovery includes professional services by a licensed investigator who is trained and certified as an Identity Theft Recovery Advocate. This fully-managed recovery process includes:

• A personal ID Theft Recovery Advocate assigned to research and assess the damage and manage the complete recovery process.
• Credit reports from Experian, Equifax and Trans Union may be reviewed by your Advocate, who is Fair Credit Reporting Act certified. This review is designed to identify fraudulent activity.
• Limited Power of Attorney (optional) allows Advocate to perform necessary tasks on your behalf, limited to disputing and reversing documented fraud.
• Advocate will perform research, phone calls, letters, follow-up, and case documentation.
• Advocate will contact and file disputes with creditors, bill collectors, banks, mortgage companies, and agencies such as the DMV, Social Security Administration, US Postal Service and more.
• Advocate will work with federal, state and local law enforcement to assist in the identification, arrest and prosecution of the perpetrator.
• Advocate will continue to work until all fraudulent events have been successfully addressed and expunged!
